So, I have had 2 run-flat tires replaced (by BMW) with 12,000 miles on them because they were shredded to pieces. I was then told that I should have the other 2 tires replaced AT MY EXPENSE! Well, those 2 tires were moved to the rear and 2 new Bridgestone run-flats were placed on the front wheels.
Yesterday, my side wall on my left front tire burst. These tires have 5,000 miles on them. It will cost me $350 to replace this tire. I have been told by my dealer - Brecht BMW - that this must be due to a road hazard, like a pothole. They also told me that my rear tires are showing cords and are wearing unevenly on the inner rim. THIS IS THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM I HAD WITH THE TIRES THAT BMW REPLACED!
There is obviously a problem with the alignment on the E60 that causes excessive tire wear on the inside edge of the tires. I have had my car aligned twice in the past 6 months. I am always told that the alignment is within specs. I can't believe that BMW won't acknowledge this problem. I am seriously thinking about replacing the tires, selling my car and suing BMW for the loss in value and unnecessary out-of-pocket repair costs WHILE THE CAR IS UNDER WARRANTY!!
Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!![Box Face [boxface] [boxface]](/images/smilies/icon_smile_boxface.gif)

i don't really know what you can do either.. (sure moaning, complaining, throwing stuff are all something you can do, but will it accomplish anything?) wonder if speaking to bmw na about your treatment will get you some head way. also when you get the satisfaction survey, you can be sure to give them the crappiest rating. (dealerships actually get penalized for less than 5 star service in every catagory, so stick it to them..)
