So I rented The Italian Job on Thursday night and I liked it so much, I bought it on Friday night when I was returning the rented copy. In the "Special Features" they talk about the original version of The Italian Job and how it is such a great movie. I went to Amazon.com and in most of the customer reviews, people state that the movie contains one of the greatest car chases in the history of movies and the movie itself is really great. Has anybody seen the original version? If so, how is the car chase in that movie, and the movie overall? Is it worth purchasing on DVD?
Btw, if you have not seen the new version of "The Italian Job", obviously I highly recommend it. It is such a lot of fun to watch and it just flows so well...I can easily recommend this movie to anyone, no matter what taste in movies they have.![Smile [:)] [:)]](/images/smilies/smile.png)

) the the mini is a icon for a generation. remember these little things only had 1300cc engines putting out an awsome ~60Bhp and performed all these stunts. The chase goes on for ~30mins and is one of the best iv'e seen. Unlike Bullit it shows that you don't need displacement the size of Central Park to get a good chase scene.
