Well i've only seen downloaded episodes between the two british shows, but I'm not exactly sure what the difference is between both of these car shows. I thought Tiff was part of Top Gear with Jeremy cuz i saw him in a few episodes, but I only see him on Fifth gear now. Can anyone answer this? Thanks.

Yeah- that guy is Jeremy. I hate that guy. He always has something to say when it comes to rating BMVs. He even complained how the E46 CSL he tested had a SMG instead of MT when he himself owns a SL55! He's just biased because he owns a Merc. He also complained about the bright colors the M3 came in.
Tiff is really cool- he loved the M3 the first time he tested it, and I'm glad that he has his own show now. Tiff really knows how to drive and he's not ashamed to act a little goofy![[:D]](/images/smilies/biggrin.png "Big Grin [:D]")

Jeremy and the 5th gear crew were on top gear on BBC1 a few years back. Jeremy left and top gear ratings plumeted! they moved to channel 5 (which only 1/2 the country can get and even less watch) and there they have stayed. Top Gear re hired jeremy and gave him his own show becuse he is not so straight laced and tells it how it is. He is taking the piss most of the time and i find him quite a funny "average joe" presenter. Tiff is an stuck up ass who thinks he is better than everyone else. IMO

Tiff owns an M5 himself. I agree about Jeremy's biased opinions, especially when he owns an SL55 AMG, which is automatic (not smg!), and he drives it like a pu$$y.
Tiff has REAL racing background, he knows how to handle a car, and I find him to be very knowledgeable when it comes to cars and I actually think JEREMY thinks he's better than everyone else, tiff see's to have a personality, but Jeremy will argue about EVERYTHING.

I think the complete opposite of Jeremey and Tiff. Tiff is funny and is hilarious to watch driving. He looks like he's having fun.

So true. I hate that Jeremy Cricket guy, he bitches about the dumbest, most pointless things. Sure the SL55 is a nice car, but he left out the fact that the damn thing weighs 4012 lbs. I didn't know Tiff Needell owned an M5. It really puts things in perspective then. Jeremy owns the lethargic SL55, which is FI (cheap power IMO) and has all the luxury rubbish. Tiff, on the other hand, drives the highly tuned, naturally aspirated, F1 inspired M5- a real driver's car. As epj3 mentioned, Tiff has a F1 racing background, so naturally he will own a car with F1 characteristics in its design- that's what I like about Tiff. IMO, if he's a little cocky, he has every right to be since he has the credentials to back it up- but I feel that he's actually light hearted and cheerful while he's honestly making his remarks about the cars he tests.

that jeremy guy is so stuck up. he called SMG M3 like the worst tranny ever, and it ruins the whole thing, he calls the mucielago clutch like stepping on a marshmellow, but he himself has a SL 55, auto!!!! and omg did u see the 'cool board' he put the modena as uncool bc its a 'big fiat'. and he owned teh 355 previous gen untill he traded it for that murc!!!
okokok, i agree with everyone except that jeremy lover. I freak'n HATE jeremy. I didn't realize tiff had his own show so i kept watching top gear to hopefully see if there were more episodes with tiff. Tiff is a much better driver in my opinion. The reason I think everyone here likes Tiff is cuz he is a true enthusiast, and can appreciate the racing dynamics of a car. I totally agree that Jeremy only likes cars that he owns. If u watching him he always compliments ferrari over eanything else, and mercs. Two cars that he owned. He's a stupid punk. He even said that he dind't really like the Mc Claren F1 because it didn't excite him??!!! Driving the fastest road car in the world with an F1 setup doesn't excite him? That just tells me he's an impotent driver hehe. Tiff is somone much more exciting to watch. In addition to this, if Jeremy really knew wat he was talking about, then he wouldn't need a stupid stigg to time all the cars. He knows he can't push the car to the limit, but Tiff takes the car to the limit almost everytime he drives.
