A brand new Porsche 911 (996) Trubo crashed in Taiwan today and dig this, the headline of the news is "SO WHAT I'M RICH."

According to the news: "……..The owner of this Porsche was showing off to his friend by driving recklessly along the mountain road at the speed of over 110mph, he overturned the car and crashed; walked away with minor injury…………….. The cost of this car in Taiwan is USD $220,000.00, and the owner plans to spend USD $100,000.00 to fix……..."









I say "Poor Car!" if you ask me.

Any thoughts on this?

Just because you have the money to fix it (or buy a new one), doesn't give you the right to disrespect it. I mean, now he's without the car until it gets fixed, and even afterwards, the whole car's structural rigidity is compromised.

i think extremly rich people should stick to rolls royce. becuse they never crash those cause cadburry drives it for them. i find it to be a shame that things like this happen all the time. i mean come on a 220,000$ car for gods sake. anyways he deserved to crash but the car didnt deserve to end up that way.

A couple of more IDIOT Photos. Yes that is the FIRST Porche Carrarra GT accident, the black BMW mess....used to be a 5 series.Truly sad that people don't appriciate their good fortune. The driver of the GT was paying 6,000 dollars a month to lease that car.[chair]

Hahaha, Porsche Die-Cast Roadside Assistance.

Rolls-Royce are for the owners to be driven in (although they can do the driving).
Bentley's are for the owners to do the driving.

Any car can be destroyed in a flash, before a driver even knows what is going on, and all by the fault of another guy. The first day I drove my 330i last year I hit a four-way stop, saw nothing coming and started to go. I tell you 2 feet further or driving with my radio on so I could not hear and I would have been toasted. The distant view was obstructed just enough and the guys speed was so fast that when he appeared and blew through the four-way stop there would have been nothing I could have done.

I was also hit broadside once by someone from a side street. All I knew is I was spinning around, couldn't see anything, and there was glass everywhere. This happens so fast there is not even time for a person to know what is even happening.
