the e38 7 changed a bit over the years, id never get a 7 b4 year 2000-2001, it just dosent look as good or as agressive in my opinion. Be the judge for ye self.

I am going to go test drive a 2001 and re test drive the 98.....Then have a LONG conversasion with my 530i...the only issue with the 2001 is the price tag....If I want to Re invest in a car then I am going to get a 05 545i....I just thought for the 18k price tag on the 740i was on point. This is a tough decision. Thanks for all of your input.

Yea, best way to go, buy urself a e39 540i, Hell these days u can get a e39 M5 for the price of a e60 545i.. The e39 has just a more agressive stance, and a more appealing look..

Ok so I guess I will go out and Kick My Own Ass and keep my girl for the time being...provided I quit having iDrive issues. My iDrive as of yesterday is completely inoperable. Pisses me off....I have had the Emissions light come on now 4 times and I am getting REALLY irritated. I drop it off today at the dealer....AGAIN. I am going to tell these Jack asses that I don't want the freaking car back until it is fixed...for good.
