The back looks a bit Japanese, but I'm sure the final production version will not have those black rims and the weird body-side moldings...I think it's gonna look real hot.

Style must change.. no matter how good it was originally it gets old.

Short of the new six series, the styling of BMW's has never really taken a drastic style change. The reasoning behind the six is because it has been out of commision for so long. When the new seven, and five were designed, it was meant as a revolutionary styling change for the Bayerische Motoren Werke. They have never done this. They have rather taken the car which was designed well in the first place, and added minor changes making it better. In this way the cars have evolved. Change is good, and must be done at one point or another. However, the change that took place during the designing for the new cars makes me think of only one thing. The Edsel.

I don't really like the new Honda M5, I'd put the guts of the new Honda into an old BMW E34 5 series. Whoops did I say Honda? I meant BMW...lol.

Personally.... I love the direction BMW is going with the styling. I dig the new ///M5

It is not a horrible looking car. It is just different. Just like how Bangle isn't a horrible design engineer. He is just "different". The thing that just urks my gherkin, is the wrap around tailights. I can see the practicallity of how someone beside you would need to know if you were breaking. The new grills look very nice too. I wonder how long it took them to trace the shape of a pontiac grill onto the paper for the template¿¿ The one that makes it all fit, is definately the trunk lid!!!!! It fit's very "Accordingly"
