removing the front bumber

i recently got clear turnsigals. They came is the clear lense, amber bulbs and new housing for the turn signals. cool, right? ..... yeah, if i could put them in. I need to remove the front bumber in order to get to the screws on the inside which hold the housing in. My car is a '89 325i with the plastic bumpers, NOT aluminum. How do i remove my bumper without damaging anything else?

look underneath the bumper, youll see 2 big ass bolts. i forget what size 17mm??? anyway thats all it takes and pull forward. youll need to reach under and disconnect your wires. piece of cake

They are 10mm...

im talking wrench size. they are at least 17mm. they are the main bolts holding the bumper on. are we talking about the same bolts?

On the 88 and laters the bumper is held on with two bolts with 10mm hex heads.

Something like this, the hex head socket you use is 10mm.
